I have asked students to write their own report card comments with regard to academic achievement, social responsibility and effort. 

Cyber Bullying Presentation

Students in grades 4-7 participated in a cyber bullying presentation by the Justice Institute of BC. 

Georgia O'Keefe Influenced Art

Check out these great Georgia O'Keefe   influenced skull and flower pictures. Students used skulls of black bear, wolf, coyote, cougar, beaver and otter to model the pictures. Done in oil pastel on black paper.

Hello, 

A word about planners: Although I am giving planner notes,  I am not checking planners daily. It is the student's responsiblility to use it, or not, and to notify me of any notes from home.  I give a HACE mark for those students who are using the planner regularly. 

A word about notes home: students should be bringing home marked work. This includes spelling tests, spelling and grammar worksheets, socials and math assignments. Please review with students their work and ask if you are not receiving any marked work from school. 

Photo re-takes are on Thursday, Oct. 7. 

On Wednesday this week the Justice Institute of BC will be giving a presentation for the whole school: Bullying Prevention/strategies.

Report cards will be sent home on Friday, October 15. Parent interviews will be scheduled the following week.
