Science World Visits Kinnikinnick

Hello, 

Today, instructors from Science World came to Kinnikinnick to teach us about physics and how to build a stable structure with blocks. They also donated a set of blocks for students to use during the year. Thank you Science World!

Tennis, Homework and Remembrance

Hello, 

Students are bringing home a permission form for tennis lessons. Sorry for the short notice. Our first lesson is tomorrow. The cost is $12.50 for five lessons. The dates for tennis are: Nov. 10, 17 and Dec. 1, 8, 15. 

Division 5 will be reciting In Flanders Field's during the Remembrance ceremony tomorrow. Please wear dark colours. 

I have assigned a small amount of math homework to be completed tonight. Telling time.

Just a note to update you on lessons and activities.

Our first swimming lesson went well. Thank you to all volunteer drivers.

We have a class blog I will be using to share news and future updates, pictures and comments from students. It can be found at http://mrponds.blogspot.ca. I am going to begin signing up followers so that you will receive the blog updates in your email. If you do not receive the blog, please visit the page and put an email address in the window at top.

Our class will be participating in the Roots of Empathy program. Guest Sheila Wilson will guide us though the social, emotional and physical development of Baby Julian. I have included an updated weekly schedule on the reverse of this page.
